How can I proof my identity using the visual identification system ?
In order to identify and access the content of your Qualified Electronic Registered Mail, you must have an ID document and one of the following devices :
- Smartphone
- iPhone
- tablet
- iPad
Then, go to the notification email you received from AR24 and click on the ” Voir mon courier ” button (Read my mail). You will be immediately redirected to a secured web page on which you can choose the method to identify with our services.
Click on the ” Confirmer mon identité ” button (Confirm my identity) then on “Identification Visuelle” (visual identification).
To begin the visual identification procedure, check the two consent boxes. If you want to know more about our privacy policy or about our terms of use, click on the underlined text.
Clickon “Commencer l’enregistrement” (begin the recording) and follow the on-screen instructions. You will have to:
- Film your ID document (film the front side then the back side in the case of a national ID card or a residence permit)
- Turn your head to the right or to the left (the direction is indicated on screen when recording your video)
- Place your face in the rectangle appearing on the screen
Your identity will be verified by our system and once validated, you will be able to access your Qualified Electronic Registered Mail.
